Happy first week of June!
I am ecstatic to share the photos from our latest photoshoot in the Pocono Mountains. My team and I filmed and photographed locations on the land that my parents built our lake house on in the mid 1990's. For the longest time I have been wanting to photograph one of my collections in this house and I am so very happy that it has finally happened! This photoshoot was definitely a personal one, and it absolutely reflects the idea and childish persona that the collection entails. Our house was built when I was just three years old, so I wanted to evoke the presence of my younger self, doing younger people things like canoeing in the lake with my brothers, and eating candy and dancing in my room, as well as exploring the woods around our property. The Poconos have shaped me as a young adult and I am so grateful to have had this second home as a place to escape to and also explore.
All of the photos captured in this shoot represent my time as a carefree kid so precisely and I haven't been able to stop grinning as I edit the remaining shots!
I hope you all enjoy the photos and are able to relate the location to the idea behind the collection.
